ABOUT THE ROLE
About Us
Dubois Holdings is a holding company and family office operating across venture capital, private equity, and entrepreneurship.
We back ambitious founders and businesses with capital, strategic support, and access to an international network of investors, founders, and operators.
Our portfolio spans multiple industries and markets, giving our team exposure to different businesses, opportunities, and stages of growth.
The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Business Development Associate to join the Dubois Holdings team and support business development across our portfolio.
You’ll be responsible for helping build and manage the pipelines that drive new business. That means identifying the right people and companies, finding ways to reach them, running outbound campaigns, managing follow-ups, and making sure opportunities keep moving.
You’ll report directly to the Chief of Staff and work closely with founders and senior leaders across the portfolio.
As part of a small, fast-moving team, the role will also include general administrative and operational support where needed. We’re looking for someone who is happy to get involved, help wherever required, and doesn’t see any task as beneath them.
This role is suited to someone early in their career who is commercially minded, highly organised, ambitious, and wants broad exposure to how businesses actually operate and grow.
Day-to-day, you might be:
Researching companies, industries, prospects, and decision-makers
Building targeted prospect lists for different businesses
Running outbound email and LinkedIn campaigns
Writing and adapting outreach for different audiences
Managing multiple business development pipelines
Keeping CRM data, contacts, activity, and deal stages up to date
Monitoring responses and identifying strong opportunities
Following up consistently with prospects
Coordinating meetings and preparing background notes for calls
Tracking pipeline activity and reporting progress to leadership
Testing different messaging and approaches to improve response rates
Supporting new business opportunities, partnerships, and market research
Assisting with general administrative, coordination, and operational tasks across the team
Jumping into whatever needs to get done as priorities evolve
Who You Are

Commercially minded and interested in how businesses make money and grow
Extremely organised and good at keeping track of details
A strong communicator, particularly in writing
Comfortable reaching out to people you don’t know
Persistent and not easily discouraged by rejection or unanswered outreach
Comfortable working quickly and managing multiple priorities
Confident using technology and learning new tools
Familiar with Google Workspace, ClickUp, ChatGPT, and CRM platforms
Experience with tools such as Apollo, HubSpot, lemlist, Instantly, or similar is useful but not required
Interested in startups, investing, sales, and entrepreneurship
Your Attitude & Mindset
Ambitious and driven
High standards for yourself and your work
Competitive and motivated by results
Confident without having an ego
Comfortable taking ownership
Resourceful and willing to figure things out
Open to feedback and quick to implement it
Persistent when things don’t work the first time
Positive and dependable under pressure
Willing to do the unglamorous work required to get results
Excited by a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly
This Role Might Not Be for You If…
You want a highly structured corporate environment
You need detailed instructions before getting started
Rejection or unanswered outreach gets to you
You dislike repetitive or detail-heavy work
