ABOUT THE ROLE
About Us
Dubois Holdings is a fast-paced, high-growth organisation operating at the intersection of venture capital, entrepreneurship, and business operations. We support visionary founders by providing capital, strategic advisory, and access to a highly curated global network of investors and entrepreneurs.
This opportunity offers first-hand exposure to two North American, fast-growing ventures in the legal and investment space – both working to accelerate justice through technology and capital. Operating within the mass tort and litigation finance ecosystem, these ventures focus on improving access, transparency, and efficiency across the legal sector.
You’ll work directly with founders and operators to help scale operations, streamline systems, and support strategic growth across ventures driving change in the legal and investment landscape.
The Role
We’re hiring a Founder's Associate to work closely with the founding team across two complementary ventures:
A venture-backed LegalTech platform that centralises mass-tort intelligence – helping law firms, investors, and marketers make smarter, faster, and more efficient decisions using connected data and technology.
An early-stage investment platform helping investors access and participate in mass-tort and litigation finance opportunities.
You’ll act as a right hand to the founders, supporting everything from research and investment documentation to business development, CRM management, and day-to-day operations.
Day-to-day, you might be:
Drafting investment memos, reports, and materials for internal and external stakeholders
Conducting research and analysis to support decision-making, strategy, and execution
Supporting business development and investor outreach, including follow-ups and coordination
Maintaining and updating CRM systems to ensure accurate contact and deal tracking
Assisting in the creation of presentations, decks, and investor updates
Helping structure workflows, refine systems, and improve process efficiency
Supporting team planning, meetings, and administrative coordination
Essentially, doing whatever it takes to help the founders execute, scale, and grow
Legal or finance experience is not required – curiosity, adaptability, and initiative are what matter most.
This is a hands-on role for someone eager to learn how early-stage companies operate at the intersection of law, capital, and social impact – particularly within the rapidly evolving mass-tort space.
Who You Are
A recent graduate or final-year student (Class of 2025) OR business / legal professional with 1-2 years of experience, excited to launch your career in venture and business building
Detail-oriented, organised, resourceful, and proactive, with a bias toward action
Passionate about using business, innovation, and technology to create meaningful social impact
Highly ambitious and motivated; hungry to learn, grow, and take ownership across a wide range of responsibilities
Strong problem solver who is comfortable working in ambiguity without a set playbook – you enjoy risk and uncertainty
Growth mindset, constantly learning and seeking knowledge
Clear communicator who can work effectively with different stakeholders
Execution-focused and eager to roll up your sleeves
Curious and passionate about startups, venture capital, and scaling businesses
Your Attitude & Mindset
Ambitious and driven to achieve excellence
Purpose-driven and ethical – you care about doing the right thing, not just the easy thing
Confident yet humble and open to feedback
Invested in team spirit and collective success
Hungry to do whatever it takes to get the job done
Autonomous – you think ahead and act before being told
Positive and optimistic, even under pressure
Thrive in the chaos and energy of an early-stage startup
This Role Might Not Be for You If…
You’re looking for a highly structured or corporate work environment
You prefer predictability and routine over variety and pace
You find frequent change or ambiguity uncomfortable
You value stability over experimentation
Would rather have step-by-step instructions than figure things out independently
You want a normal ‘9-5'
