The Role
We’re hiring a Founder’s Associate to work directly alongside the Founder and CEO of a rapidly growing US PropTech company within the Dubois Holdings portfolio.
The Founder is highly driven, ambitious and deeply involved across the business. As the company scales, he needs someone who can create leverage around him: bringing structure to a fast-moving environment, taking ownership of execution and making sure priorities actually get done.
Your biggest strengths should be execution and organisation.
This is a true generalist role. You’ll work alongside the Founder and play a role across virtually every function of the company, including marketing, finance, operations, product, technology, people and growth.
You won’t be expected to be an expert in all of these areas. You will be expected to learn quickly, get into the detail and help move things forward.
One week you might be helping roll out a marketing initiative or analysing a business problem. The next you could be working with the product team, building an automation, supporting a financial project, coordinating a hire or helping the Founder prepare for an important meeting.
You’ll have visibility across the entire business and an unusually close view of what it takes to build and scale a company.
Day-to-day, you might be:
Taking priorities from the Founder and driving them through to completion
Owning follow-ups, action items and open loops across the business
Keeping projects, people and deadlines organised and moving
Supporting projects across marketing, finance, operations, product, technology and people
Working with different functional leads to unblock priorities and drive execution
Managing the Founder’s inbox, calendar and key communications where required
Preparing meeting briefs, research, analysis and supporting materials
Building automations and evaluating new tools to improve how the company operates
Designing or testing simple AI agents to improve workflows
Supporting product initiatives and helping coordinate feedback, priorities and execution
Helping execute marketing, growth and business development initiatives
Supporting financial analysis, fundraising and investor-related projects
Improving internal systems, processes and documentation
Researching markets, competitors, partners and new opportunities
Supporting hiring and helping identify exceptional talent
Taking ownership of special projects directly from the Founder
Stepping into whatever part of the business needs additional horsepower
The scope will constantly evolve as the company grows. The common thread is simple: figure out what needs to happen, take ownership and get it done.
Who You Are
You’re likely a recent graduate, final-year student (Class of 2026), or early-career professional with approximately 1–2 years of experience.
More importantly, you are an unusually strong executor and generalist.

Comfortable jumping between completely different areas of a business

Tech-curious and excited by AI, automation and system building
Commercially minded and interested in how businesses actually work
An excellent written and verbal communicator
Comfortable moving between strategic thinking and detailed execution
Comfortable working directly with a highly driven Founder
Energised by startups, technology and entrepreneurship

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or currently completing your final year
Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
Excellent written English
Exceptional attention to detail
Highly proactive, adaptable and eager to learn
Comfortable using technology and learning new tools quickly
Interest in startups, technology, business building or venture capital
Location: Cape Town or Johannesburg
