This is an exceptional opportunity to gain global exposure while being based in Cape Town, working directly with founders and operators across our portfolio. You’ll gain hands-on experience in startup execution within one of our fast-scaling ventures.
The Role
We’re hiring a Founders Associate to join a rapidly growing US PropTech startup within the Dubois Holdings portfolio. The company is transforming how property owners and managers coordinate operations – combining the best of high-quality service execution with technology, automation, and AI to simplify workflows.
You’ll work closely with the Founder and CEO as a true force multiplier across operations, product, and marketing. You’ll do everything from managing an inbox and schedule to helping build, optimise, and automate the systems that power the business.
Day-to-day, you might be:
Building automations or evaluating new tools to improve the tech stack
Designing or testing simple AI agents to optimise workflows
Drafting and rolling out a three-month social media or marketing plan
Thinking through scaling strategies, team structures, and helping identify great talent
Managing systems, documentation, and internal operations
Coordinating meetings, communication, and administrative tasks
(Essentially, doing whatever it takes to act as the founder’s right hand and help the business scale smoothly.)
This is a hands-on role for someone eager to understand the inner workings of how startups actually operate and scale – ideal for a self-starter who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
Who You Are
A recent graduate or final-year student (Class of 2025) OR business professional with 1-2 years of experience, excited to launch your career in venture and business building
Hungry to learn, grow, and take ownership across a wide range of responsibilities
Tech-curious and eager to learn about automation, AI, and system building
Strong problem solver who is comfortable working in ambiguity without a set playbook – you enjoy risk and uncertainty
